Another rising star at Orlando Pirates is catching the eye

One of Orlando Pirates’ emerging talents is forging his own path and making sure he’s impossible to overlook.

Orlando Pirates’ youth development has been the root of their recent success in domestic cups, and it appears that the Buccaneers have another youngster who is quietly making his mark.

Pirates were recently crowned back-to-back champions of the Ubungani Cup and an insider close to the player has tipped 18-year-old left winger Ntando ‘Mashonisa’ Ngcobo to be the next talent to follow in the footsteps of players like Relebohile Mofokeng,  Mohau Nkota, Boitumelo Radiopane and Mbekezeli Mbokazi.

“He played in the Ubungani Cup. Pirates won it and Ntando played all the games. 5 games,3 goals and 2 assists, they won the trophy.” an insider revealed to the Siya crew.

“He scored the winning goal at the final when they beat the University of Johannesburg. He was born in 2007 and he is 18 years old. He is from Langalibalele Academy too,”.

In recent years, Pirates have been known for promoting youngsters who have gone on to shine not only for the club but for the national team.
