A key Springbok could miss Saturday’s must-win Investec Champions Cup match for the Stormers against the Leicester Tigers in Cape Town.
Netwerk24 reports that Damian Willemse is in doubt after undergoing a head injury assessment during last weekend’s heavy defeat to Harlequins in London.
While Willemse has since been medically cleared, the Stormers are weighing up whether to risk him this week or rather manage his workload ahead of next Saturday’s Vodacom URC match against the Sharks in Cape Town.

Should Willemse be rested, Jonathan Roche could slot into the midfield alongside the returning Ruhan Nel.
Dobson will also need to appoint a stand-in captain, with regular skipper Salmaan Moerat unavailable for family reasons. Nel is viewed as one of the leading candidates.

Meanwhile, Paarl Gim and SA Schools star Markus Muller has trained with the Stormers this week.
