Chiefs have enjoyed a good start to 2026, having won four matches in a row, the last of which was a 1-0 win over ZESCO United in the CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday.

The Soweto giants have also not conceded a goal in any of their four matches, although scoring goals has not been easy with four goals in four matches.

Stellenbosch, meanwhile, will be aiming for a return to winning ways after losing 2-0 to CR Belouizdad in the Confederation Cup on Sunday.

Stellenbosch have won just one of their three matches under Gavin Hunt this year, which came two weeks ago against Sekhukhune United in the league.

Chiefs have already beaten Stellenbosch in the league this season, although the Cape Winelands side got their revenge in the Carling Knockout back in October.
