Opposition political leader Nelson Chamisa has paid an emotional tribute to former Zanu PF central committee member and outspoken war veteran Blessed Geza, following his death.
Blessed Geza passed away yesterday at a cardio hospital in South Africa after a battle with cancer.

Nelson Chamisa Hails Geza as a Trailblazer
In a heartfelt message on his X account, Nelson Chamisa praised Blessed Geza for breaking ranks and standing firm on his convictions, saying the veteran had “kindled a flame that will never fade” and set an example of courage and integrity.
He highlighted Geza’s role in challenging injustices and inspiring others to uphold their principles, describing his influence as a “light no darkness can quench.”
Chamisa also offered condolences to Geza’s family, friends, and the nation, noting that the veteran’s contributions would endure beyond his passing and continue to inspire future generations.
“CDE GEZA…You broke rank. You saw the light and lit the way. A flame kindled that will never fade, only grow. The flame you kindled will forever glow and grow into a bonfire. You did your bit and sparked a flame no darkness can quench. The light lives on. There shall be no extension of anything !!Your declaration stands. My condolences to the nation, Geza family and friends.
