Benni’s Kenya Suffer Humiliating 8-0 Loss

Senegal 8-0 Kenya

Benni McCarthy’s Kenya suffered an embarrassing 8-0 defeat to Senegal in an international friendly on Tuesday evening.

The Harambee Stars came into the clash on the back of a loss to Equatorial Guinea, while Senegal fell to Brazil in London.

The Lions of Teranga showed Kenya no mercy in the first half, as Sadio Mane bagged a first-half hat-trick while Nicolas Jackson contributed with two and Malick Diouf also got his name on the score-sheet.

Senegal netted two more goals in the second half, with Ibrahim Mbaye and Cherif Ndiaye finding the back of the net to complete the rout.

Oman 0-2 Ivory Coast

Ivory Coast continued their preparation for the Africa Cup of Nation with a 2-0 win over Oman on Tuesday evening.

Both goals arrived in the first half, with Jean-Philippe Krasso and Vakoun Issouf Bayo getting their names on the score-sheet.

Saudi Arabia 0-2 Algeria

Algeria made it back-to-back wins in November after defeating Saudi Arabia 2-0 at Prince Abdullah al-Faisal Stadium.

After a scoreless first half, Riyad Mahrez opened the scoring for the Desert Foxes after converting a penalty.

Rafik Belghali made the game safe by netting Algeria’s second goal with five minutes left on the clock.

Angola 3-2 Zambia

Bafana Bafana’s AFCON rivals Angola returned to winning ways after defeating Zambia 3-2 on Tuesday evening.

Jo Felicio, Zito Luvumbo and Mabululu were on target for the home side, who lost to world champions Argentina on Friday.

Jack Kalici and Fashion Sakala netted for the visitors, who have now suffered back-to-back defeats.
