CRDB Bank and FinDev Canada signed a USD 60 Million investment to increase access to finance for Women and Youth entrepreneurs. This partnership is part of the larger initiative to expound on the conversation started around gender parity, environmental sustainability and ensures that small businesses, particularly those led by women; flourish in a friendly environment.

DEG: Strengthening SMEs and Employment Opportunities for Young People

A US$50 Million Loan Agreement with DEG – Deutsche Investitions und Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH will further strengthen CRDB’s contribution to SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) growth. This collaboration targets at increasing youth employment, improving the performance of small businesses and promoting local innovation.

SADBU / Shelter Afrique: Funding affordable housing in the DRC

To handle the housing lag in DRC, CRDB Bank has sealed a USD 10million package with Shelter Afrique Development Bank. The capital will be used to fund low cost housing projects which will help the development of cities, as well as improve living standards in Congolese communities.

This program not only creates safe and affordable housing but also creates construction jobs in the sector as well and builds economic resiliency.
