Thato Sibiya is featuring more at Mamelodi Sundowns.
Mamelodi Sundowns are going to have another shot at CAF Champions League glory and it appears they could do so with a younger starting line-up.
Head coach Miguel Cardoso has given opportunities to Thato Sibiya and Kegan Johannes, who are both under-25, in the line-up, while 21-year-old Khulumani Ndumane also made his debut for the club earlier this week.

Ndamane raised his hand for more appearances in the starting line-up after his impressive performance against Sekhukhune United, which saw the Tshwane giants keeping a clean sheet in a 2-0 victory.
With Kutlwano Letlhaku also getting more opportunities recently in attack, Sundowns are certainly putting their faith in some of the younger players in the team, but they will get tested in the tough conditions of the CAF Champions League.
Arthur Sales is 23 and new signing Brayan Leon is 25, so too Tashreeq Matthews, so it’s evident that Sundowns are making sure they are building for the future while also trying to bag the biggest titles on offer.

Sundowns take on Al Hilal in Rwanda on Friday after the two sides played to a 2-2 draw at Loftus Stadium, with the above mentioned players in a good position to start or get some minutes. After missing out on the title in the final last year, Sundowns will be hoping the younger generation can play a big part in finally getting their hands on the title for the first time since 2016.
