Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games Full Netball Fixtures Announced

Glasgow 2026 has unveiled the official netball match schedule for next summer’s Commonwealth Games with 12 of the world’s best teams set to go head-to-head over nine days from Saturday 25 July to Sunday 2 August 2026.

Playing with the stunning backdrop of the iconic Hydro at the Scottish Event Campus the twelve competing nations have been divided into two pools according to World Netball rankings as of 1st September 2025 led by world champs Australia and no. 2 New Zealand respectively.

The tournament gets off to an explosive start with an action-packed first day of competition on the 25th July as hosts Scotland play the opening game against WN World Ranked number two New Zealand at 09:00am (British Standard Time).

All home nations will be in action on day one as England play Northern Ireland at 14:00pm BST and the Welsh Feathers go head-to-head with Uganda at 16:00pm BST.

Fans from around the world will then be treated to a not-to-be-missed clash between historic commonwealth rivals Australia and England at 11:00am BST on 26 July with the England Roses hoping to replicate their historic 52–51 victory over Australia in Gold Coast 2018 which was sealed by Helen Housby’s iconic last-second goal.

Later that evening the New Zealand Silver Ferns will play Birmingham 2022 silver medallists the Jamaican Sunshine Girls with the aim of going one better than 2022’s semi-final match when Jamaica beat the Silver Ferns 67-51 to seal their place in the final.

Speaking on the announcement WN President Dame Liz Nicholl DBE said: “It is fantastic to see the full schedule for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games now live.”

“The Commonwealth Games is always a highlight in the international netball calendar for the players officials and netball family and with these unmissable matchups between the 12 teams now confirmed I have no doubt that Glasgow 2026 will live up to all expectations.

“From the very first whistle when our hosts Scotland take to court against New Zealand please make sure you show your support for our world-class athletes both in the Hydro and online around the world.” 

Emily Nicholl Scottish Thistles Co-Captain added: “Now that the schedule has been finalised it brings a whole new level of excitement with it.

“The countdown to the Games is well and truly on!”
