Guruve Serial Killer Zvitsva’s Childhood Steeped In Crime And Dark Rituals Revealed

The shocking upbringing of alleged Guruve serial killer Anymore Zvitsva, steeped in crime and clandestine rituals, has been revealed today. A new report details a path from a childhood of forced theft to a murder spree that left 19 people dead, all set against a backdrop of alleged spiritual defilement and community banishment.

The information, published on January 10, 2026, paints a picture of a life moulded by a father’s criminal enterprises and a family’s alleged breach of sacred local taboos. The details of his crimes, including a timeline from March to December 2025, and his subsequent arrest following spiritual intervention, provide a chilling account of his alleged reign of terror.

A Childhood Forged In Theft, Banishment And Juju

Anymore Zvitsva was reportedly inducted into a life of crime by his father, Fresher, from an extremely young age. His early training involved acting as an accomplice in shop burglaries and participating in his father’s alleged cattle and donkey rustling schemes. The details paint a stark picture of his initiation and the family’s standing in the community.

“If you are born to a father who stole cattle and made them wear football stockings to mask their spoor; if you were born to a father who stole donkeys and shaved them to avoid identification; if you were born to a father who dropped you from a shop ceiling on a leash to steal goods at a tender age, what honestly would you become?”

Fresher Zvitsva was a feared figure, known for dabbling in juju (magic) that went against the local spiritual ethos. His family attests to unconventional methods he used to evade law enforcement.

“His family attests that he communicated with ants. Each time an ant bit him, Fresher knew police were close to him and he would run away before they got him.”

The family faced repeated ostracisation for their criminal activities. They were banished from Vheremu Village around 2006 and later from the Majisarara settlement after just four years. Anymore eventually dropped out of school in Grade 4, becoming a recluse in the bush.

The Sacred Mountain Breach That Allegedly Backfired

A central element of the narrative is the repeated defilement of Nyatsanga Mountain, a sacred site home to springs used exclusively by authorised spirit mediums of the Soko Wafawanaka clan. Despite having no authority, Fresher and Anymore are said to have frequently trespassed to collect water for their own rituals.

“While the Zvitsva family is from the clan of autochthonous spirit mediums… Fresher and his son Anymore were ordinary members of the clan with no authority to climb up the mountain and defile the shrine. And, against all advice, Anymore and his father Fresher frequented Nyatsanga Mountain to collect water from the sacred springs for their own underworld rituals which gave them disappearing antics, supernatural powers, among others.”

This repeated taboo is believed by some in the community to have triggered a catastrophic reversal of the intended power, corrupting it with terrible consequences.

“It is now believed the besmirching of the sacred mountain backfired on Anymore and his father, turning them into animals. So, for Anymore and his father, it could be rituals gone wrong.”

Fresher’s fate saw him die in prison in 2012, granted a pauper’s burial in an unknown location as relatives feared attracting his spirit back into the family.

A 2025 Killing Spree And Capture Followed By Spiritual Decree

Anymore Zvitsva’s alleged killing spree throughout 2025 was brutal and methodical. Starting in March with the bludgeoning of Jane Dube, it escalated through alleged rapes and strangulations with snare wire. Victims included his own aunt, Grace Zvitsva, whom he killed on December 14, 2025, two days after she had reportedly identified him in a group of men apprehended near Nyatsanga Mountain.

His ability to evade capture for months, using his knowledge of the rugged terrain and reportedly moving with incredible speed, added to his notoriety. His eventual arrest in late December 2025 is described as occurring directly after a significant spiritual intervention by the very custodians of the traditions his family had defied.

“Anymore was arrested hardly two days after spirit mediums of the area, Svembere, Nyamuseve and Sambiringa, among others, gathered for an overnight session and declared that his time was up, yet police and other security forces had spent months tracking him in vain.”

Acting on information, security forces also took into custody his 107-year-old grandmother, Emma, accused of providing him spiritual guidance. Zvitsva has reportedly admitted to killing five relatives, though forensic investigations into the full toll of 19 alleged murders continue. The legal case remains before the courts.
