Kaizer Chiefs’ winless run extends to three matches

Chippa United and Kaizer Chiefs were unable to be separated after a goalless draw at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.

For Amakhosi, the result marked a third game without victory, while the Chilli Boys made it 10 matches without any taste of triumph.

CHIPPA UNITED HOLD KAIZER CHIEFS AT THE NELSON MANDELA BAY STADIUM

With opportunities few and far between, Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Brandon Petersen made only one save on the night, which came via Eva Nga as late as the 67th minute. The best chance of the game fell for Mfundo Vilakazi in the 69th minute, but Chippa United’s goalie Dumisani Msibi parried the low effort away from the net.

Chilli Boys coach Vusumuzi Vilakazi made two changes after last Saturday’s stalemate against Siwelele, with Justice Figuareido and Banele Hlophe replacing Eva Nga and Ruzaigh Gamildien up front.
