Scott Sakupwanya Backs Black Rhinos FC with US$460 000 Sponsorship Package and Luxury Team Bus
Businessman and legislator Pedzai Sakupwanya has bankrolled Black Rhinos F.C. with a US$460 000 sponsorship package ahead of the 2026 Division One season.
The sponsorship deal was channelled through his company, Betterbrands Gold.

Luxury Bus and Fleet Upgrade
The sponsorship package unveiled on Wednesday at Army Headquarters in Harare, signals renewed belief in the club’s push for promotion ahead of the 2026 Northern Region Division One season.
Central to the package is a 66-seater luxury team bus designed to improve travel arrangements during the demanding Division One campaign.
In addition to the bus, the club’s leadership and technical structures received vehicles to support operations. A Toyota Fortuner was allocated to the chairperson, while the head coach and the administration were each handed Toyota Aqua vehicles.
The investment is expected to ease logistical pressures and allow the team to focus squarely on performance.

Backing Beyond the First Team
Beyond transport and executive mobility, the sponsors pledged support for the club’s development structures and fan base, underlining a long-term vision that extends beyond immediate promotion.
The backing reflects a broader commitment to restoring stability and competitiveness at the club following relegation two seasons ago.
Clear Intent for 2026
The sponsorship unveiling coincided with the official launch of Black Rhinos’ 2026 kit, along with the introduction of players and the technical team.
With strengthened financial backing and improved resources, the army side has made its intentions clear — the mission is to reclaim its place in the Premier Soccer League.
