The milestone came following Orlando Pirates2-0 victory over Richards Bay FC on Wednesday evening, a result that further highlighted the Buccaneers’ defensive solidity this season.

Chaine has been one of the standout performers in the Betway Premiership campaign, producing a remarkable run of consistency between the posts for the Soweto giants.

The Pirates shot-stopper has featured in 20 league matches so far this season and has conceded just eight goals, an impressive defensive record that underlines both his performances and the stability Pirates have shown at the back.

Most notably, Chaine has managed to keep 14 clean sheets during that period, setting a new benchmark in the league.

His displays have been crucial in helping Pirates remain competitive at the top end of the standings, with the goalkeeper often called upon to produce key saves at important moments.

The statistics also highlight how difficult it has been for opposition teams to breach the Buccaneers’ defence this season, with Chaine serving as the final line of resistance.

Having firmly established himself as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper, the former Chippa United shot-stopper has grown into one of the most reliable custodians in South African football.
