Flyhalf Kade Wolhuter will make his Vodacom Bulls debut in Sunday’s Investec Champions Cup clash against the Northampton Saints.
The Pretoria-based side recently secured the services of Wolhuter on a loan deal from the Lions, who he represented seven times in the Vodacom URC and twice in the EPCR Challenge Cup.
The Bulls have made sweeping changes to the team that lost to Bordeaux Bègles at Loftus last weekend, with several Springboks being rested.
Zak Burger starts at scrumhalf in place of Paul de Wet, while Wolhuter takes over the No 10 jersey from Handre Pollard. Devon Williams slots in at fullback, with Sergeal Petersen and Stravino Jacobs named on the wings. Stedman Gans returns at outside centre, partnering Harold Vorster.
TEAM: Van der Mescht, Pollock to tackle Bulls
In the pack, Marcell Coetzee shifts from No 8 to blindside flank, with Elrigh Louw starting at the back of the scrum and Reinhardt Ludwig retaining his spot at openside.
Only Embrose Papier keeps a place among the replacements.
